Now that we are starting to record our life, here is a little history of how it has been the last 9 years.
Bex and Mo
This is Bexley, Emma and Mo! Mo is a little monkey stuffed animal that bexley's kindergarden class gets to take home and have a day with mo! so here they are playing with bex's trains.
So much has happened in the last nine years. We moved into tom's parents basement for nine months after mason was born. Then we upgraded to the duplex in August of 2003 and loved it there. Mason was almost a year old.
im crazy pants head man...dotodotoWe went to bear lake with them the summer of 2005. What an adventure, so we get to bear lake and think that we are going to beach camp HHHAAAAAA!!!! what a silly thought. we pulled up to a shore campground and it is rockier than Rocky Balboa. The stakes for the tent would not even go in. then, oh then the wind came and it flatten our tent-literally. poor mason was crying and luckily we hadn't unloaded the car into the tent yet. just set up the tent and got a few things out. So the storm came and by this time it was almost 8pm. we decided to pack up and head to the nearest lodge. We get to the lodge just in time, in fact they were closing their cafe. I think they took pitty on us. they fed us, thankfully. We had planned cooking at our campsite. Well the next morning tom got up early, before any of us, and went to the local market picked up some milk for the kids and located a local KOA. Oh thank heavens for the KOA!! We took our stuff over to the koa and unloaded, it ended up being a beautiful weekend. Mason still remembers some of the activities we did at the koa. We watched shrek and ate popcorn in the club house. We swam in the pool. the kids were a bit small to venture out swimming, however we did take them in the canoe. That was an adventure! bex didn't like it so much and we tried to keep mason from playing over the edge. all and all, it was one awesome vacation. tooo

The Beggining

Bexly riding his horse
My memory of Mason and Bex is bittersweet. I love having them and watching them grow. I have many fond memories, and hopefully the bitter ones will be forgotton. I suffered wtih postpartum depression after Bexley, so as much as i enjoyed him the first year was extremly tough. Tom put up with alot from me. The unfortunate thing is that neither one of us realized that is what the problem was. And it seemed like for the next couple years all we did was put more on our plate than we could handle. We took in foster kids, that was something we thought was worth while, but in the end again our hearts were bigger than our brains. I couldn't handle it, i wasn't a parent of teenager and i didn't know what to do. i needed to be there for my family and not mix any more things into the mixture. So after emma was born, i finally recieved the help that i need and i am grateful to say that all is well in the jessup home. but im getting ahead of myself areant I. So Bexley and Mason were jewels in our lives, but we knew there was at least one more.
Barney and Mason
Mason loves barney at age 2. Barney came to visit mason at the park for his birthday. Mason was in heaven, he thought that was the bees knees!
Mason 2nd Birthday
Bexley is now 3 months old and Mason is turning two!! He had a great time, tom and i went all out. We knew his love for barney, so we had him come to the park just after mason's party.
Mason and Gilbert
One of our many adventures. We had a pet duck, that was more like a dog really. He wasn't nice to mason however, there were some ego rivals that gilbert felt needed to be the biggest. They were about the same size, so there were times when gilbert would peck mason. but Mason was a tough little guy and ended up usally just having fun with gilbert the duck. 2004
Pa and Bexley
Both of them are soo sleepy.
Daddy and Bexley
Tommy holding his precious son. Now he has two most wonderful boys. In the summer of 2004 Little Bexley came to us. We are so grateful to have him as part of our family. Bexley was around 3-4 weeks early, but interestingly enough he came two days before toms insurance ended with Washington Mutual. See he started a new job and the new insurance didn't start until 60 days after he started with Shopko. Which put us in giving birth right between insurance coverage. But the Lord was with us and bexley came just in time. and is a strong healthy little boy.
Bexley
little bex. who ever thought he was once little. My precious little angel 2004
Mason
just taken a bath!! In 2004 a time was approaching that would change everything for mason. Bexley was on his way. So for a few more months mason would get all the attention.

This is Crazy!
our life of opening our doors..So we lived in Midvale for 6 years. While there, we let different friends stay with us. We had tom's friends Jason and Paris Baird live with us for a few months until they got a place of their own. After that we took in Skyler Jessup, Tom's cousin Christa's little boy. He was 10 months old and Mason was 15 months old at this time. Then the family thought it would be good if we took David Jessup in as well, he was almost 3 at the time. Tim, Tom's uncle was going through a rough time so they asked us if we would do this. Our hearts were bigger than our brains, at least mine was. It was topped off by me being pregnant with bexley. So the stress level can only be guessed and thanks to the grace of God, the two little boys went to live with other relatives. We wanted so much to take care of the world, but i guess you can only do what you can do. So we also took my best friend Rachel in with us at this same time and she helped me out, she is a great friend. She lived with us for the next few months even after the boys went to live elsewhere. Then tom and I decided to take a break and just try to live life with the little ones we had.
mason
Mason just a little over 4 months old. Mason used to eat in this little bounce when we lived with Tom's parents (the Basement). Mason and I had so much fun in our little apt. We would go to the Gym every morning, and i learned that i really could be thin. It was a great time in our life, hard but every part of our lives teaches us things that if we hadn't gone through we might not have otherwise learned. Eventually it did get hard not to have my own space and tom was no longer going to school. so it was time to move on. we had the opportunity to move into the home tommy grew up in. So we took it, and moved into the duplex, and so starts the adventures of Midvale.

Our First Halloween
BOO!!tom and I carved pumpkins at Jeni and Mike's house. It was our first attempt to follow instructions in this carving book. We didn't plan the poses and they ended up going perfect together. So here they sat on our little basement porch.
The Jessup's in 2001
looking back, here is what life was like-Back then!
The very first apt. we lived in on 263 E 7200 S midvale. Tommy and I were married in 2001. We had a jeep wrangler that was the bomb! Mango was the color and also our favorite fruit. We would go on canyon drives up brighton canyon. We had so many memories with that jeep. Took it to vernal a few times. See, Tommy and I met summer of 2000. I moved to salt lake to live with amy and kent just after i finished up a season of skiing and working in a lodge in Park City. It was a debate of what to do, go back to school in logan. Go back home to Vernal. But only one thing felt right and that was to come and live with amy. So i got a job and worked my way into an apt. with a roomate named april. We had fun together, but i new that there was more for me. That summer i opened a bank account with Washington Mutaul, and of course Tommy opened my account.
Misty's Bridals
At our Reception in Salt Lake January 20, 2001. That was a wonderful Day. My dreams came true! Life Started Right away for tom and I. Once we new we wanted to be together forever, There was no stopping us. Tommy proposed on a beautiful October evening after enjoying a meal at our favorite resturant he took me to the grounds of the Jordan River Temple. Knelt down on one knee and asked if i would marry him. I was so excited i took the ring out of the box. Because to me in my mind it seemed like forever that he sat there holding out the ring. So i put it on MY OWN FINGER! ugghhh, talk about dumb. well i claim insanity, besides i don't think future brides are supposed to make much sense.
Tommy and Misty have been married for 9 years. We just celebrated our ninth anniversary this last january. Tom is an awesome Father and Husband. I couldn't ask for more!
Misty (me) is the mother of 3 and absolutley adores it. We just moved and it was the best thing ever! I love the neighborhood, our ward and the envirement we are in-I feel safe.
